Iridology
Iridology is the science of analyzing the delicate structures of the irid of the eye. Iridology is the science and practice that reveals inflammation, where located and in what stage it is manifesting. The irid reveals body constitution, inherent weaknesses, levels of health and transitions that take place in a person's body according to the way one lives. For example, the area immediately around the pupil relates to the stomach and the area around that represents the intestines. It is said that the pattern of the irid is like a genetic map of the body, showing inherited traits and pinpointing weaknesses. Changes in this pattern can reflect changes in the body.
Kriya Yoga
Kriya Yoga is a form of yoga mentioned in the Yoga Shastra. The Kriya Yoga course includes the practice of Kriyas (purification techniques) and Pranayamas (control of life-force through breath). It deals with activating and controlling the five senses in the human body, increasing concentration and purifying the mind for higher knowledge. Kriya Yoga expands the mental capabilities and psychological parameters of the student, leading to efficiency in everyday life.
Magnet Therapy
For thousands of years Chinese, Egyptians, Chaldeans, Arabs, Greeks, Romans and Indians have used magnets to heal. According to legend, about 2500 years ago, a shepherd named Magnes found mineral stones sticking to the metal nails in his sandals.

There are two types of pain: Acute pain and chronic pain. Acute pain is the result of any immediate trauma such as stubbing your toe. Chronic pain is pain that has lasted for 6 months or longer, such as lower back pain. Gilbert allegedly used magnets to relieve the arthritic pains of Queen Elizabeth I.

There are two theories that are used to explain magnetic therapy. One theory maintains that magnets produce a slight electrical current. When magnets are applied to a painful area of the body, the nerves in that area are stimulated, thus releasing the body's natural painkillers. The other theory maintains that when magnets are applied to a painful area of the body, all the cells in that area react to increase blood circulation, ion exchange, and oxygen flow to the area. Magnetic fields attract and repel charged

Naturopathy
Naturopathy has a synergistic relationship with all other natural therapies but none more so than with nutrition. Diet and nutrition are a cornerstone of health, wellness, and vitality. We are what we eat, digest, absorb, and eliminate. We assimilate nutritional information to make who we are, and eliminate information that is harmful to our body. From a naturopathic perspective, we examine nutrition from four different aspects: macronutrients (protein, carbohydrate, and fat balance), micronutrients (vitamins and minerals), specific nutritional needs (for particular situations or disease processes), and food reactivity. There are three different types of food reactivity that we assess: food allergies, food sensitivities, and food intolerances.

If one of the most important functions of naturopathy is to detoxify the body for biopurification, then one of the most important functions of healthful nutrition is to prevent intoxication. In general, this may be done by eating a diet rich in fresh, well-grown, well-prepared whole foods that are low in total calories, total fat, refined carbohydrates, food additives, and stimulants, and eliminating the foods to which one is intolerant, allergic, or sensitive to.

Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a way of detecting and treating damaged parts of the body such as muscles, ligaments, nerves and joints. When the body is balanced and efficient, just like a well tuned engine, it will function with the minimum of wear and tear, leaving more energy for living.

Osteopathy is useful for all aches, pains and sports injuries, but it is more than that, by working to correct problems in the musculo-skeletal system it can be possible to improve the function of the whole body.

Osteopaths consider each person as an individual. On your first visit, the osteopath will spend time taking a detailed medical history including important information about your lifestyle and diet. You will normally be asked to perform a series of simple movements. This will allow a full diagnosis and treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Phobias
A phobia is when a fear becomes excessive and incapacitates us. A phobia is an anxiety associated with a specific event, situation, person or place and is the most common form of anxiety disorders. Many specific phobias can be traced to a trigger event that may have occurred at an early age.

Sometimes an individual is hardly aware of the phobia due to it being repressed and subconsciously avoids situations or events which may make them overly anxious. When a person is aware of their phobia sufferers may experience palpitations, nausea, sweating, a sense of everything not being real, being detached from their body or even a fear of dying.

Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy, or Physical Therapy, is a Health Care profession concerned with the assessment, maintenance, and restoration of the physical function and performance of the body. It is a form of care which can be performed both in isolation or together with other types of medical management. Physiotherapy helps provide a speedy and complication-free return to normal activity.

Physiotherapists treat a wide variety of injuries and problems using many different techniques. In many cases, the causes of pain and dysfunction are obvious, but sometimes things are not so black and white, especially when symptoms are difficult to describe. Physiotherapists can run a wide range of tests to help locate the source of the problem and implement the appropriate treatment strategy.

Pranic Healing
Pranic Healing is and ancient science and healing art, brought into modern awareness by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui, an enlightened teacher. Pranic Healing is a simple yet powerful and effective method of energy healing. It is based on the fundamental principle that the body is a “self-repairing” living entity, which possesses the innate ability to heal itself. Pranic Healing also works on the second principle that energy can be projected from one person to another. As a result, the healing process can then be accelerated by increasing the life force energy on the affected part of the physical body without depleting the healer. Pranic Healing techniques have been scientifically researched and are used by physicians and laypersons worldwide.
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a partnership between an individual and a therapist trained to assist participants understand their feelings and aide in changing their behavior. Individuals often consider psychotherapy under the following circumstances:
  • They feel an overwhelming and prolonged sense of sadness and helplessness, and they lack hope in their lives.
  • Their emotional difficulties make it hard for them to function from day to day (e.g., they are unable to concentrate on assignments and their task performance suffers as a result).
  • Their actions are harmful to themselves or to others (e.g., they drink too much and become overly aggressive).
  • They are troubled by emotional difficulties facing family members or close friends.

Results suggest that psychotherapy can assist in decreasing participants’ depression and anxiety and related symptoms such as pain, fatigue and nausea. Evidence supports the notion that most people who have at least several sessions of psychotherapy are far better off than untreated individuals with emotional problems.

  • Pathophysiology
Pathogenesis refers to the development or evolution of the disease process. Pathophysiology involves “not only the pathogenesis of the disease and the response of the organism to the disease but also the effects of the disease process on normal physiology as a whole” Thus pathophysiology can be defined as “the study of mechanisms by which disease occurs in living organisms, the responses of the body to the disease process, and the effects of these pathophysiologic mechanisms on normal function”
    Psychoneuroimmunology
The new field of psychoneuroimmunology with its origins in the mid-1960s has become the organizing centre for the study of “the complex bidirectional interactions between the central nervous system and the immune system” . Psychoneuroimmunology studies the effects of psychological factors, the nervous and endocrine systems, and the immune system.
